Three ingredients, one daily capsule

CoreCapsuleRX combines two prescription medicines and a vitamin in a single capsule taken once a day. A U.S.-licensed physician reviews your assessment and decides whether it is appropriate for you.

  • Dutasteride

    Blocks both forms of 5-alpha reductase, the enzyme that converts testosterone into DHT. In a 24-week randomized trial of 917 men with pattern hair loss, dutasteride increased hair count and hair width more than finasteride. Dutasteride is FDA-approved for an enlarged prostate; its use for hair loss is off-label. See finasteride vs. dutasteride.

  • Minoxidil

    Low-dose oral minoxidil reaches follicles through the bloodstream, so there is nothing to apply to the scalp. It is FDA-approved at higher doses for blood pressure; low doses for hair loss are off-label and have been studied in large real-world series. See oral vs. topical minoxidil.

  • Vitamin D3

    A daily vitamin D supplement. Low vitamin D levels have been associated with several hair loss conditions. It is included to support overall levels, not as a hair-growth medicine on its own.

    The Curekey process starts with a short online medical questionnaire that takes about 1 minute to complete. Patients share their hair loss pattern, medical history, current medications, and goals. The information is reviewed by a U.S.-licensed physician to determine whether prescription treatment is medically appropriate.

    Physician review and prescription

    Each completed questionnaire is reviewed by a licensed physician practicing in the United States. The physician on the Curekey care team evaluates the medical history, hair loss pattern, and any contraindications, and determines whether prescription treatment is medically appropriate. If treatment is approved, a prescription is issued. If it is not appropriate, the patient is informed and not charged.

    Physician-recommended treatment

    A licensed U.S. physician reviews your case and decides whether prescription treatment is right for you. Options include topical solutions, oral medications, or combination therapy used for androgenetic alopecia.

5 · What to expect after starting treatment

Treatment works gradually

Hair loss treatment works gradually. Most patients need at least 3 months of consistent use before changes become visible, with optimal results often seen between 6 and 12 months.

    Reset phase

    Little to no visible change is expected. Temporary shedding may occur and is a normal response as hair follicles reset their growth cycle.
  2. Phase 2

    Stabilisation

    Hair loss often begins to slow. Some patients may notice reduced shedding or early signs of thickening.
  3. Phase 3

    Regrowth

    Gradual improvements in hair density may become visible as weakened or dormant follicles begin producing thicker, healthier hair.
  4. Phase 4

    Maintenance

    With continued treatment, hair loss can often be stabilised and existing hair preserved. Ongoing use is typically required to maintain results.

Safety

Side effects to know about

Low doses are used to keep side effects uncommon, but these are the ones worth knowing before you start.

  • New hair on the face or body, the most common effect of oral minoxidil. It depends on dose and usually reverses after lowering or stopping; see minoxidil and facial hair.
  • Ankle swelling, a faster heartbeat or lightheadedness, which are less common at low doses. Tell the physician about any heart condition or blood pressure medication.
  • Sexual side effects such as lower libido or erection or ejaculation changes, reported in a small share of men taking dutasteride.
  • Temporary shedding in the first weeks as follicles reset their growth cycle; see why hair sheds when you start treatment.
  • Dutasteride lowers PSA test results by about half. Tell any doctor who checks your PSA, and do not donate blood until 6 months after your last dose.
  • Women who are or may become pregnant should not handle the capsules.

Tell the physician in your assessment about every medication you take, your blood pressure, and any heart, liver or prostate condition. If side effects bother you after starting, message your care team.

What is in CoreCapsuleRX?+
Dutasteride, low-dose oral minoxidil and vitamin D3, combined in one capsule prepared by a licensed U.S. pharmacy.
Is CoreCapsuleRX FDA-approved?+
No. Each active ingredient is used in FDA-approved medicines, but this combination is compounded by a licensed pharmacy and is not itself FDA-approved. Using dutasteride and low-dose minoxidil for hair loss is off-label, and the capsule is only dispensed with a prescription from a U.S.-licensed physician.
How is dutasteride different from finasteride?+
Both lower DHT. Finasteride blocks one form of the enzyme that makes DHT; dutasteride blocks both, and in a head-to-head trial it increased hair count more than finasteride over 24 weeks.
How do I take it?+
One capsule a day, at about the same time each day, with or without food.
How long until I see results?+
Most people need at least 3 months of consistent use before changes become visible, and results are usually judged at 6 to 12 months. Results vary, and treatment only works while you keep taking it.
Who is CoreCapsuleRX for?+
Adult men with pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) in the states Curekey serves. It is not prescribed to women.
What if I miss a capsule?+
Take it when you remember, unless it is nearly time for the next one, then carry on as normal. Do not take two capsules to make up for a missed one.
Can I keep using minoxidil or finasteride I bought elsewhere?+
Not without telling the physician. Combining products from different sources can double up on the same medicine and raise the risk of side effects, so list anything you already use in your assessment and the physician will plan around it.
